How a Perfume is Built
Perfumes change in smell over time. They use three layers of notes:

- Middle notes: The heart of the perfume. They show up after the top notes fade. Examples: rose and jasmine.
- Base notes: The deep, heavy scents that stay on your skin the longest. Examples: wood, amber, and musk.
